 Is it just me or do the powers that be in the NHL always overreact to whatever flavour of the day the media brings about?  For instance, the debate today is headshots.  A few players get caught with their heads down, pay a price for their mistake, the media cries “Change is Needed!” and the NHL brasses are in panic mode to “study” the situation and “fix” it.  Well, I’m here to say enough!

Adam Bennett is a retired professional ice hockey player.  He played for both the Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League, and was inducted into the Halton Hills Sports Museum in 2008.  For over ten years now he has offered professional hockey development lessons and programs, including Adam Bennett’s Hockey Fundamentals and 3on3 Hockey by Adam Bennett.

Liam Maguire is a proclaimed NHL trivia expert of the world and has been published twice on the subject.  He is the Managing Editor at Centre Ice Magazine, a minor league hockey publication in Ottawa.  Liam has made over 2000 appearances as an emcee, keynote speaker, entertainer and host.
 

Roger Lajoie is a North American sports correspondent for the Reuters News Agency and a regular host on The Fan 590 radio station in Toronto. He is the play-by-play announcer of all St. Michael's Majors games on the internet and host of Majors games on Rogers Television. Roger also does play-by-play for the Oshawa Generals on Rogers Television of all Generals home games and is the club's Director of Communications. Roger also teaches at the College of Sports Media in downtown Toronto. He is also the author of The Road to Hockeytown.
