Gump Worsley’s 24 year pro career was highlighted with the Montreal Canadians
where he won 4 Stanley Cup Trophies.  As well, Worsley was the recipient of the Calder
Trophy as the league’s outstanding rookie in 1953 and won the Vezina trophy in 1966
and 1968. His finest season was  in 1967-68 where he posted a 1.98 goals against
average and had 6 shutouts in 40 games played.
